The three main good-time destinations are Hvar, Brac and Lošinj. Dalmatia is peppered with A-star cocktail bars on the beaches, as well as some of Europe's most lively clubs and discos. HolidayCheck users recommend the Zrce party beach in Pag, complete with shuttle service.

Dubrovnik:
The historic city of Dubrovnik attracts thousands of tourists every year, with its archaic, narrow streets and the sea just over the wall. It has sights a plenty, so there are lots of photo opportunities. Among these, you can see the statue of the legendary Roland and Europe's oldest apothecary. Full of boutiques and cafes, Dubrovnik is a place to remember.

Zagreb: A visit to Croatia is not complete without a visit to the capital. Zagreb's cathedral is purely awe-inspiring, so that must be on the 'things-to-see' list. The city is also full to bursting with museums of every kind, so it offers something to everyone. Most of the tourist sights are situated near to one another, so they can all be reached on foot.
